Pretty little Corriedale Ewe lamb, just hours old!  First Fall lamb 2015, born September 9th in the wee hours of the morning.

River City Fiber Fest 2015

Display of Hettinger Corriedale Wool at the Peoria River City Fiber Fest 2015.  Corriedale fleeces, dyed roving, and yards of yarn!

You will want to see how this yarn is made!

Illinois Wool and Fiber Mill of Belvidere, Illinois washed, combed, and pin-drafted Hettinger Corriedale covered fleeces and made 100 % Corriedale roving.  Illinois Wool and Fiber Mill then processed some of the roving one final step; spun the roving into yarn. 

Dye-Namic Duo of Metamora, Illinois dyed the roving and yarn many exciting colors! 

As you can see, the raw covered fleece is on the far left in the picture.  5 inch staple!

The fleece was washed, combed, and pin-drafted to make the roving, second from the left.

Natural white yarn was made by spinning the roving.

Dye-Namic Duo did their magic on the natural white roving, the result....lively roving of blue, avocado, and teal.

And the fabulous finish; Dye-Namic's dyed the natural white yarn and made this new bold colored yarn, Jewel of the Sea.

Beautiful new colors of Corriedale Yarn... Katie's Pinks and Jewel of the Sea! Local Dye-Namic Duo Fibers of Metamora, IL took our natural white yarn and produced this this fantastic colorful yarn!

This beautiful Hettinger Corriedale Roving was dyed by Dye-Namic Duo of Metamora, Illinois. Cormo lambs!  These are twins of Cormo ewe P22, they are The Pink Sisters!  They are full of mischief and very bold..just like their pretty soft fleece.

News flash....Java the cat now has some competition...another black sheep on the farm! 

Cormo Cute!

This Cormo ewe, Sweet P 22, had the cutest twin ewe lambs on March 8th!  She is a superb mom!  The lambs were only hours old when this picture was taken. The Cormo breed of sheep have a very fine fleece....next to skin soft!
