Lush Spring Green

These are the front pastures.  This pasture has lots of legumes, more alfalfa and clover.  This pasture was new last year, but I did frost seed clover and orchard grass early this spring/late winter. 

Spring Mix

The apple blossoms make a pretty arrangement with the tulips from the front yard. 

Corriedale Ewes

The ewes are grazing on new pasture mix this spring: alfalfa, clover, orchard grass . They all look pretty happy. The ram is in with these ewes, so some will hopefully have fall lambs.

Gardener

Dante is ready to help with the garden hose, or at least he knows where it is.

Peachy

Peach tree and lovely flowering apple tree by the new hay field.

Redbud

Such a pretty redbud tree by the sheep pasture, never disappoints with it's pretty spring color.

Corriedale ram lamb

Handsome little Corriedale ram lamb hiding behind his mom. This Corriedale ewe has twins, this ram lamb and a ewe lamb.  Both are growing fast and are both fat and sassy.

Welcome to spring! New alfalfa field in the near distance and a small wheat field beyond. But all looks similar on this beautiful green spring day.
